Since January 12, 2024, a total of 34 domestic Class An and C vehicles with production dates from June 8, 2022 to August 22, 2022 have been recalled.

Due to improper transportation of spare parts in some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the internal components of the electronically controlled vehicle stable driving system (ESP) unit are damaged, and moisture may enter the interior, affecting the function of the ESP system (vehicle stability control, anti-lock braking system), increasing the risk of vehicle collision, there are safety risks.

Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace ESP units free of charge for vehicles within the recall range through authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers to eliminate safety risks. Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. authorized dealers will notify the car owners of the recall by registered letter and other means.
