Compared with various password machines, the password card, like the relationship between the graphics card and the computer, is a necessary component of standardization.

However, in the past, quantum devices are usually the size of a computer case, which is larger than a cryptographic machine, and is usually connected to the cryptographic machine through a USB line or network cable as an external device, but there is a greater security risk." Zhao Yibo, chairman of Guoguang Quantum, said that thanks to the quantum random number chip independently developed by Guoguang Quantum, quantum random numbers can be directly integrated into the password card. A quantum cryptographic card is only as large as a graphics card, and it does not need external equipment, and it does not need to be connected through USB line or network cable, which improves the integration, applicability, security and reliability of quantum cryptographic equipment.

In addition, the quantum cryptographic card is compatible with various interfaces of all traditional cryptographic cards, can directly replace the traditional cryptographic card to insert cryptographic machines and gateways, and realizes the plug and play of quantum cryptographic cards. It can be widely used in all cryptographic machines, all gateways, all kinds of information security devices, all data encryption storage environments and other scenarios.

According to the company's official website, Beijing Zhongke Guoguang Quantum Technology Co., Ltd. was established in December 2021, located in Xinchuang Park, Beijing Economic and technological Development Zone, founded by a number of doctors from the University of Science and Technology of China. It has many core technologies in quantum-related industries, such as quantum communication, quantum enhanced radar, particle trap, optical quantum computing and so on. Guoguang Quantum is mainly engaged in the research and development and application of optical quantum chips, and based on optical quantum chips to create a variety of quantum security, quantum enhanced radar, domestic high-end instruments and other products.

CTOnews.com inquiry found that Hefei Silicon Zhen Chip Technology Co., Ltd. and Suzhou National Core Technology Co., Ltd. are also developing quantum password cards, which passed internal tests in July last year, but have not yet been officially launched.
