Deb is a text bai part extension in Debian package format.

Deb format is the exclusive installation package format of Debian system du (including Debian and zhiUbuntu). Dao, together with APT software management system, has become a very popular installation package under Linux. After entering the 2.x era, Cydia author JayFreeman (saurik) was transplanted to the iPhone platform, along with the APT software management system.

The Debian package is a standard archive of Unixar, which packages the package file information and package contents through gzip and tar. To install a .deb file, simply Right-click on the .deb file and select Kubuntu Package Menu- > install the package.

Alternatively, you can install the .deb file by typing the following under the terminal

Sudo dpkg-I package name .deb

To uninstall the .deb file, you can use Adept, or enter:

Sudo apt-get remove package name
