CTOnews.com Nov 23 news, WeiUnicom Technology today released the JBOD storage expansion device TL-Rx00PES-RP series, which uses PCIe Gen 3x8 connection, resulting in transmission speeds of up to 64 GB per second.

According to reports, this series of products can choose 12-disk 2U rack models and 16-disk 3U rack models.

Officials say the new hard disk area created on TL-Rx00PES-RP JBOD can expand NAS's existing storage pool. By concatenating the QNAP NAS with multiple TL-Rx00PES-RP JBOD, the NAS storage space can be flexibly expanded to a huge PB level. The TL-Rx00PES-RP series supports SATA hard drives, and the on / off function is linked with the host NAS. The user's NAS needs to install QXP-3X8PES (PCIe Gen 3x8) or QXP-3X4PES (PCIe Gen 3x4) storage expansion card in order to connect the TL-Rx00PES-RP series expansion equipment for expansion.
