CTOnews.com, November 23, AMD's next-generation RDNA 4 GPU has appeared in the Linux LLVM patch, including GFX1200 and GFX1201 IP, which is expected to be used for Radeon RX 8000 series graphics cards.

According to the latest LLVM-Project comments, GFX1200 and GFX1201 based on the AMD RDNA 4 architecture may correspond to Navi 44 and Navi 48.

Of the two GPU models, GFX1200 ID was previously used in Navi 41 SKU, and although AMD has reportedly cancelled its high-end Navi 4X product line, these products were probably intended for the design of Navi 4C chips.

It is said that the company is now focusing on high-end and mainstream markets. For AMD, the difference between its flagship and high-end products is that AMD likes to treat products priced above $500 (CTOnews.com Note: about RMB 3580 currently) as feverish products, which tend to use top-of-the-line Navi x1 chips, but probably not this time.

According to the AMD plan, the next generation Radeon GPU series based on RDNA 4 architecture is expected to be launched in 2024 and will adopt a new advanced process node.
