CTOnews.com, November 23 (Xinhua)-- Internet zombies have begun to spread again these days. Researchers at Internet company Akamai said recently that hackers are using a variant of the zombie virus Mirai to launch attacks aimed at two zero-day vulnerabilities in network devices of several manufacturers.

▲ source Akamai zombie virus Mirai variants mainly target monitoring devices and routing devices of D-Link, Toshiba, TP-Link, Tenda, NetWare, Zyxel and other manufacturers. Hackers can download and deploy corresponding botnet viruses through Shell commands after using vulnerabilities to obtain device permissions.
