CTOnews.com, November 22, November 21, three new processors have been introduced on the RISC-V: the C907, which extends the AI matrix for the first time, the C920 that meets the Vector1.0 standard, and the real-time processor R910, which claims to accelerate the large-scale commercial landing of RISC-V in self-driving, artificial intelligence, enterprise-class SSD, network communications and other scenarios and fields.

According to reports, based on software-hardware collaborative optimization, the C920 upgrade supports the latest Vector1.0 standard, which can achieve more accurate and stable task allocation, maximize the performance of each thread, and then improve the overall performance. The C920 improves the AI performance by up to 3.8 times compared with the previous generation, and can run the Transformer model, which is suitable for machine learning, autopilot and other fields.

Another processor, Xuan tie C907, claims to achieve independent matrix operation (Matrix) expansion for the first time, which improves computing density and parallel computing ability, and can be 15 times faster than traditional schemes. The processor is expected to be available in March next year.

Xuan tie R910 meets the new computing requirements of high reliability and high real-time performance, and supports Cache and TCM storage architectures. it can be equipped with fast and consistent peripheral interface, which greatly improves the real-time performance of the system while maintaining high reliability. R910 can be used in memory control, network communication, autopilot and other fields. R910 is used in the newly released SSD master chip Zhenyue 510.

CTOnews.com learned that the Xuan tie RISC-V processor family has been updated to 9, which has been used in computer vision, storage solutions, industrial interconnection, network communications, intelligent device terminals and other fields.

At present, Xuantie RISC-V has completed deep integration with operating systems such as Android, Debian, Fedora, Gentoo, Ubuntu, Dragon lizard, Uni-Credit, openKylin, Skyworth Cookai, RTT and other operating systems. During the 2023 RISC-V International Summit held a few days ago, Xuan tie demonstrated the first RISC-V-based intelligent large-screen WebOS "Coolita" developed by Kokai Technology, which realized the functions of mainstream website video playback, multi-screen interaction, games, singing bar audio-visual entertainment, nail online meetings and so on on the TV side. In addition, the first Android device based on Xuan tie RISC-V will be commercialized on a large scale in 2024.
