With the increase in 3nm contract manufacturing capacity, TSMC's 3nm production capacity is expected to reach 60,000 to 70,000 pieces by the end of this year, the annual revenue share is expected to exceed 5%, and there is a better chance to reach 10% next year.

It is said that under the circumstances that Nvidia, Qualcomm, MediaTek and other companies will gradually introduce the second generation 3nm (N3E) in the second half of 2024, it is estimated that TSMC will have a monthly production capacity of 100000 pieces by the end of 2024, establishing the direction of long-term mainstream process.

In August, however, The Information said Apple had received a "discount" from TSMC. Typically, semiconductor companies pay for defective chips made by contract manufacturers, but Apple does not. That could save Apple billions of dollars.
