CTOnews.com, Nov. 22, according to Bloomberg, Microsoft hopes to continue to expand the board of directors of OpenAI and requires resident directors to keep abreast of the latest developments in directors and have the right to veto certain major changes.

Touyuan: OpenAI Microsoft has injected $13 billion into OpenAI and owns 49% of the shares, but Microsoft does not send a representative to the board of directors of OpenAI, so OpenAI's dismissal of Sam Sam Altman was the last known before it was made public.

Now that OpenAI is run by a 2%-owned non-profit organization, Microsoft is eager for OpenAI to change the company's governance structure to provide more predictability and, ideally, allow Microsoft to influence strategic decisions.

Bloomberg reported that whether Altman returns to the OpenAI board or not, Microsoft hopes to expand the board membership of OpenAI and promote changes in the governance structure.
