CTOnews.com November 22 news, Bao Ke Meng's COO (Chief operating Officer) Udo Miyagi Chongren said that his goal is to ensure that the Pokemon series IP can last "hundreds of years."

Asked about his current duties at the company, Yudu Miyagi replied in an interview with the Guardian that his role was to ensure that Pokemon lived longer than all of us.

▲ CTOnews.com Note: the stop-motion animated series Pokemon: concierge will be launched on Netflix next month. "I think about Pokemon every moment every day," he explained. "our goal is to keep Pokemon IP alive for hundreds of years and to make sure it survives for the rest of our lives."

Yudomiya also pointed out that while it is important to constantly satisfy existing fans of Bao Ke Meng, it is also important (and more difficult) to ensure that young players continue to find the series.

"it's easy for [IP developers] to focus only on adults, who have a lot of disposable income and you can see their reactions on social media in real time. But we need to make sure that young children are still interested. Children are honest-they don't play with things they don't like. If your brand makes people feel old or boring, they will give it up immediately."

Yudomiya revealed that one way the series can be expanded in the future is to show more of Pok Meng's behavior in the wild, rather than just seeing them as interchangeable role-playing game members.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, in May, Pokemon said it had sold more than 480 million copies of the Pokemon series on all platforms in the past 27 years, making it the third best-selling video game in history, after Tetris (495 million) and Mario (more than 776 million).
