CTOnews.com, Nov. 21, according to Japanese media GDM, the AMD Thread Ripper 7000 series processors will go on sale at 11:00 Japanese time on November 24. The Bank of China version is expected to go on sale at 10 a.m. Beijing time.

According to AMD's previous news, the first models on the market are the Threadripper 7000 series and some Threadripper PRO 7000 WX processors.

The AMD Threadripper 7000 PRO processor is designed for workstation systems, with a choice of 12-core 7945WX to 96-core 7995WX at a frequency of up to 5.3 GHz. This series of processors has 128 PCIe 5.0channels, L3 cache reaches 384MB, and supports 8-channel DDR5-5200 memory.

The AMD Threadripper 7000 processor is designed for high-performance desktop systems with a choice of 24-core 7960X to 64-core 7980X at frequencies up to 5.3 GHz. This series of processors have 48 PCIe 5.0channels, L3 cache up to 256MB, and support 4-channel DDR5-5200 memory.

In terms of price, the overseas price of the Threadripper 7000 processor has been announced. The 24-core 7960X model sells for $1499 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 10748 yuan), the 32-core 7970X sells for $2499, and the 64-core 7980X sells for $4999 (currently about 35843 yuan).
