It is worth mentioning that although the new Kaiyang SSD uses flash memory particles of PCIe 4.0 specification, it can only be PCIe 3.0 specification due to the limitation of the main control chip, and the sequential read and write speed can reach 3500 MB/s and 3000MB/s.

CTOnews.com learned from Lianyun's official website that Lianyun 1202 master was launched in 2020 and is positioned as the "PCIe3.0 ultimate SSD master chip".

This master supports PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe1.4 interface technology standard, uses high-performance dual-core CPU, embedded third-generation Aglie ECC (4K LDPC) error correction technology, Agile Zip data compression technology, hardware RAID5 and E2E data protection technology, and incorporates Lianyun's latest ultra-low power SOC chip architecture design technology and NAND interface high-performance adaptive technology (up to 1600MT/s).
