CTOnews.com previously reported that the Samsung Galaxy A555G will be equipped with its own Exynos 1480 processor, model S5E8845, and internal code name "Rose".

The Exynos 1380 processor model is S5E8835 and the Exynos 1280 processor model is S5E8825.

The Exynos 1480 processor is Samsung's first mid-range chip equipped with AMD GPU, and the score information shows that it will be equipped with Xclipse 530GPU.

According to the information on the page, the Exynos 1480 processor uses a 4x4 eight-core design, with a total of 4 clock rates of 2.75GHz core and 4 2.05GHz core, while the Exynos 1380 processor clock rate is 2.4GHz and 2.0 GHz respectively.

Xclipse is the GPU brand name that Samsung uses based on AMD graphics architecture. Samsung Exynos 2200 will be equipped with Xclipse 920, while Exynos 2400 will be equipped with Xclipse 940 and will be equipped with both Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 + models.

Currently, Xclipse 9xx is used for high-end GPU, based on AMD's RDNA3 architecture, while Xclipse 5xx is used for mid-range models, probably based on RNDA 2 architecture.
