CTOnews.com, Nov. 21, Guo Mingyi of Tianfeng Securities, in the latest market research newsletter, looks forward to 2024, the world's two fastest shipments of smartphones equipped with latent cameras are Apple and Huawei.

Guo Mingyi believes that Apple also plans to launch the iPhone 16 Pro next year with a quadruple reflection prism design, and it is estimated that shipments of the iPhone with quadruple reflection prism design will grow 160 per cent next year compared with the same period last year.

Mr Guo also believes that Huawei's P70, P70 Pro and P70 Art phones launched in the first half of 2024 will also be equipped with a periscope camera, and shipments of the P70 series are expected to grow 100 per cent year-on-year in 2024 due to the use of its own Kirin chip.

Next year, the main supplier of Apple and Huawei's mobile phone looking cameras will be Da Liguang, which is expected to account for 85-90% of Apple's iPhone 16 Pro series and 50-60% of Huawei phones.

CTOnews.com also learned from Guo Mingyi's briefing that the production yield of Dali's Apple order has significantly improved since 4Q23 and began to contribute profits, and the overall periscope order increased significantly by about 130% in 2024, so the profit in 2024 is expected to exceed the market consensus.
