CTOnews.com, November 21 (Xinhua)-- Google is now introducing a stable version of ChromeOS 119 to compatible Chromebook. This update brings ChromeOS the ability to install Steam clients directly, and new Google Drive synchronization features for Chromebook Plus models.

Prior to ChromeOS 119, users could install and use Steam on compatible Chromebook, but before implementation, users needed to switch the device to the developer channel, enable the experimental feature and enter an activation code before they could use it. In ChromeOS 119, users simply install and see the Steam icon in the application drawer.

ChromeunboxedCTOnews.com, a foreign media source of ▲ images, found that this update also enables the option of the new version of Google Drive file synchronization for Chromebook Plus models, which can automatically synchronize files in the background so that notebooks can browse necessary files without being connected to the network.
