From January to October, the business income of the postal industry (excluding the direct operating income of the Postal savings Bank) totaled 1.23515 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.5% over the same period last year. Of this total, the revenue from the express delivery business totaled 964.38 billion yuan, an increase of 12.3% over the same period last year.

In October, the mail and delivery business of the postal industry completed 14.62 billion pieces, an increase of 19.7% over the same period last year. Among them, the volume of express delivery completed 12.06 billion pieces, an increase of 22.2% over the same period last year.

In October, the business revenue of the postal industry reached 133.82 billion yuan, an increase of 18.6% over the same period last year. Of this total, the revenue from the express delivery business reached 109.83 billion yuan, an increase of 21.7% over the same period last year.

From January to October, the volume of express delivery in the same city, other places, and international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan accounted for 10.3%, 87.4% and 2.3% of the total express business respectively, and business revenue accounted for 5.9%, 50.0% and 11.3% of the total express revenue, respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express business in the same city decreased by 1.4 percentage points, that of other places increased by 0.9 percentage points, and that of international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan business increased by 0.5 percentage points.

From January to October, the proportion of express business volume in the eastern, central and western regions was 75.5%, 16.5% and 8.0% respectively, and the proportion of business revenue was 76.3%, 14.0% and 9.7%, respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express business volume and revenue in the eastern region decreased by 1.4% and 1.2% respectively, while that in the central region increased by 0.9% and 0.6%, respectively. In the western region, the proportion of express business volume increased by 0.5%, and the proportion of express business income increased by 0.6%.

From January to October, the brand concentration index of express delivery and parcel service CR8 was 84.1, which was the same as that in January-September.
