Gurman believes that photography has become "without a doubt" one of the key selling points of the iPhone series of phones, and that the technology is at the heart of the future development of the hybrid reality and self-driving car industry.

Gurman also revealed the progress of several other Apple projects:

The Wi-Fi + Bluetooth combination chip faces delays along with the modem. The technology was scheduled to be released in 2025, and Apple hopes to eventually replace Broadcom's chips.

The MicroLED display will be applied first to the Apple Watch and then to other devices.

Apple hopes to develop a non-invasive blood sugar detection system and hopes that the feature will eventually be implanted into Apple Watch, a project that has been in the pipeline for a long time.

According to CTOnews.com earlier today, Gurman also revealed in Power On that Apple had planned to launch its first headset, the Apple Vision Pro, in January 2024, but the company was still developing distribution plans for the product and conducting final device testing.

Apple officials say the Apple Vision Pro will be available in the United States early next year. Gurman said he now expects the device to be launched "around March".
