CTOnews.com, November 19 (Xinhua)-- Valve founder Gabe Newell recently expressed his views on the postponement of the game in a very straightforward language in a documentary on the 25th anniversary of "half-life" released on YouTube.

The documentary focuses on the production of "half-life", but there are other areas of concern. Newell also shared his views on "authenticity" in video games, which he is obviously not interested in.

"I never thought authenticity was fun," Newell said. "I play games for fun."

CTOnews.com noted that in order to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the "half-life", the V Society made a big update to the game and gave it away for free on November 18, bringing this classic game of the 1990s back to life. Not only did the number of Steam online users set a new record (a peak of 31068), but the number of "half-life" reviews soared according to the Steam page, adding more than 2300 reviews on the 18th alone.
