Google released Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1 on Thursday, CTOnews.com reported on November 19. @ MishaalRahman found that it brings a new feature called "Private Space", but this feature is still under development.

As you can see from its settings page, this new feature can "create private space" and will allow you to set up a new user profile in the system, where you can hide some App or other projects.

From the description, "private space" can be opened in the lock screen interface with a specific password, which is equivalent to creating a "trumpet" on the phone. Of course, you can also choose whether "private space" is "visible" or not.

CTOnews.com notes that other OEM phone makers have introduced similar features a long time ago, such as Samsung's Secure Folder, but its principle is not "trumpet", so "private space" seems to be slightly different in this respect.

Foreign media believe that this feature, which appears in Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1, seems to indicate that Google is ready to provide "private space" for other compatible Pixel users in the December feature update. Of course, even if you have stumbled upon "private space" on your Pixel phone now, it won't work until next month.
