Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, November 18, Chinese scientists recently jointly found that one of the reasons affecting the performance of perovskite solar cells is due to the uneven distribution of cations, and successfully prepared "homogenized" perovskite solar cells with a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 26.1% and a certification efficiency of 25.8%.
The project was completed by the solid State Physics Institute of Hefei Institute of material Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Pan Xu and Tian Xingyou, key Laboratory of Photovoltaic and Energy Saving Materials of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nam-Gyu Park, Professor of Chengkunguan University, South Korea, and Dai Songyuan, Professor of North China Electric Power University. The related results were published on Nature.
The co-author of the paper, Dr. Ye Jiaju of the Institute of solid State Physics (right) and the first author of the paper, Dr. Liang Zheng (left), are testing the performance of battery devices. Pan Xu, the first newsletter author of the solid state drawing paper and a researcher at the Institute of solid State Physics, said:
To popularize science here, perovskite is not a mineral, but a crystal structure. The perovskite materials used in solar cells have very high absorption and conversion efficiency for visible light and are naturally capable of preparing high-efficiency solar cells.
The efficiency of perovskite solar cells is unprecedented. It took nearly 80 years for crystalline silicon solar cells to rise from the initial 3% to the current 26%, while perovskite solar cells increased from 3.8% to the current 26%, which took only more than 10 years.
In this work, Pan Xu and others found for the first time that the cations in the perovskite film were unevenly distributed in the vertical direction, put forward the strategy of "homogenizing" cation phase distribution, and successfully prepared high-efficiency perovskite solar cells. the photoelectric conversion efficiency of 26.1% was obtained, and the continuous light stability test reached 2500 hours.
