NordPass counted the top 200 simple passwords used by users in 2023, with the top 10 including "123,123", "1234", "12345", "12345678", "123456789" and "1234567890" and "Aa123456". Last year's password "password" fell to seventh this year.

NordPass said that if hackers want to launch an attack and use brute force to crack it, they can do it in less than a second.

The second password, "admin", is the standard password on many devices and is easy to be hacked.

Adding "123" to "admin" or using the "@" symbol between words and numbers can significantly increase cracking time.

For example, "admin123" and "admin@123" need more time to choose. An interesting fact is the popularity of the password "Eliska81", which ranks 40th and is used by more than 75755 people, indicating that random and unexpected combinations are becoming more mainstream.

In addition, it is worth noting that the password "admintelecom" ranks 54th, and it takes about 23 days to use brute force to crack it, making it one of the most secure passwords on the list.
