CTOnews.com, November 16, China Railway said that seven new stations in the Qingbaijiang-Zhenjiang pass section of the Sichuan-Qinghai Railway have been completed, with a total length of about 207km and a design speed of 200km per hour. Construction began in October 2013, track laying was completed in May 2023, and the trial operation phase entered in September.

There are 10 stations in Qingbaijiang, Sanxingdui, west of Shifang, south of Mianzhu, Anzhou, Gaochuan, Maoxian, Shidaguan, Diexi and Zhenjiang pass on Sichuan-Qinghai Railway, among which Shidaguan and Diexi stations are cross-crossing stations and do not handle passenger transport. Qingbaijiang Station is the existing reconstruction station.

Sanxingdui, west of Shifang, south of Mianzhu, Anzhou, Gaochuan, Maoxian and Zhenjiang pass stations were unveiled. Among them, Sanxingdui Station is located at the junction of Nanxing Town and Xiangyang Town in Guanghan City, about 5 kilometers away from Sanxingdui site.

Sanxingdui Station abstracts the bronze mask unearthed from Sanxingdui into the overall shape of the facade of the station building. In the process of decoration, the cornice brown of the facade is adjusted to bronze, which has a very high degree of identification and highlights the cultural characteristics of Sanxingdui.

CTOnews.com learned from China Railway that when the Qingbaijiang to Zhenjiang pass section of the Sichuan-Qinghai Railway is completed and opened to traffic, it will become a fast and green transportation channel in Northwest Sichuan, connecting with the existing Baocheng Railway, Xicheng High-speed Railway and the Chengdu-Xining Railway under construction to jointly build an important railway trunk line connecting the Northwest and the Southwest.
