According to blogger @ greentheonly, the 2023.38.8 software update shows that front seat heating and wiper heating will soon become paid features for new cars. It is not clear whether this is for all 2024 basic models or only for models sold in specific markets.

Tesla may choose to remove the above features from the cheapest models in order to further reduce the starting price, so that he can get government subsidies in some countries, and the car owner can pay the corresponding fee after delivery to activate the missing function.
