CTOnews.com, November 16, at the ongoing OPPO developer conference, officials introduced the design, fluency and functionality of the new ColorOS 14. One plus 12, OPPO Find X7 series and OPPO Reno11 series phones will be the first to be installed.

In terms of design, OPPO launched "Aquatic Design" last year, which claims that the color dynamic effect is natural and smart, and the information screen animation changes with the daily temperature, so that users can use OPPO's ColorOS in different scenes through simple and comfortable scenes.

On ColorOS 14, CTOnews.com found that OPPO has increased font weight, improved guide design, and fine-tuned a number of controls over the last year, claiming to optimize more than 600 details.

In addition, OPPO claims that ColorOS 14 designs dynamic effects based on user behavior and adds "continuous blocking animation", which is intuitive.

In terms of system fluency, officials claim that OPPO uses the ColorOS supercomputing platform, which claims to have a smooth start-up of 1 million times, and provides "72 hours limit survival", "up to 20 GB space savings" and "15 minutes of battery life".

In terms of functions, ColorOS 14 supports dual 5G communication sharing, which claims to allow tablets to use the 5G network without connecting hotspots; it has LinkBoost function, which claims to keep the network unobstructed, whether on the subway or when multiple people in the family are connected to the Internet; and has "fingerprint cross-end verification", "global information collection", "flash matting" and so on.

The official also introduced the new "holographic audio" function of ColorOS 14, which allows any headset to get a wider audio space in the new OPPO device, claiming that when different sound sources of games and music are played at the same time, sound separation, clear stereo, and support for up to 12 sound objects do not overlap.

In addition, officials highlighted the productivity of ColorOS 14, introduced the system's new "transit station" function, which claims to be "super temporary storage space across devices", and claimed that the system supports more than 60 file formats.

The official also invited Microsoft Global Partners to introduce the new "Phone Link" function of the system, which allows mobile phones to seamlessly connect with computers to achieve more efficient cross-end collaboration, and the device's "portable workbench" function, which claims that users can search, access, edit and share software on OPPO devices on browsers on any device as long as they log on to their personal accounts.
