CTOnews.com, Nov. 15 (Xinhua)-- Volkswagen Golf R and Golf R Travel Edition will usher in minor changes, and the new car's undisguised road attempt has been exposed recently.

CTOnews.com noticed that from the photos, the front bumpers of the two cars were camouflaged, such as fake edges and corners wrapped in white tape. This is to make people think that this is a cash golf R, but in fact the upcoming new car will have a different air intake, with two horizontal bars throughout the front (pictured below). Although it is still decorated with edges and corners, it will be more low-key and located on both sides of the central sensor.

In addition, the two cars are equipped with smaller, brand-new headlights with a slender glowing band between them, which is narrower than before because part of the "R" sign is suspended from it.

The rest of the body is basically unchanged, but you can see that the new car has a new diffuser and a new taillight pattern, and there may be some other minor changes.

However, the interior of the new car will change a lot, and previous prototypes have been found to be equipped with a larger and more modern central control screen, similar to the ID.7 and Passat travel versions, meaning that golf may have a central control screen of up to 15 inches.

The current Golf R is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 315 hp (235 kW / 319 PS), a maximum torque of 400Nm and a standard all-wheel drive with a choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.
