The completion depth of the well reached 9432 meters, setting a new record for the deepest onshore well in Asia.

The successful drilling of this well once again proves that China's deep ground series technology has stepped into the forefront of the world, providing important technology and equipment reserves for marching into 10,000 meters of ultra-deep layers, and ensuring national energy security.

The difficulty of the "Shen Di No.1" project is rare at home and abroad, refreshing the records of the deepest well deviation in Asia and the horizontal displacement of ultra-deep drilling.

The "Shendi No.1" Yuejin 3-3XC well is located in Shaya County, Aksu region, Xinjiang, on the edge of the Taklimakan Desert, with a depth of 9432 meters, 584m higher than the height of Mount Qomolangma. In addition to facing the problems of complex geological structure, high temperature and high pressure in the ultra-deep well, the well is designed to have a horizontal distance of more than 3400 meters, and is faced with new problems such as difficult casing entry and cuttings easy to form "cuttings bed" in the horizontal section. the difficulty of construction is rare at home and abroad. The well was drilled on May 1 this year and completed on October 26 after 177 days of construction.

The Yuejin 3-3XC project is dominated by Sinopec Northwest Oilfield, introduces excellent technical teams at home and abroad, fully integrates high-quality resources and advanced technology, and integrates advanced speed-up tools such as long-life rotary conductors and high-performance bits. Boldly adopt new technology to solve the difficult problems such as rock breaking and speed up, and make full use of big data, remote support and other means to efficiently provide risk early warning, optimize drilling parameters in real time, and realize a breakthrough transformation from "empirical drilling" to "scientific drilling".

Yuejin 3-3XC well is located outside the red line of the wetland nature reserve in the upper reaches of the Tarim River, but the oil and gas produced comes from the ultra-deep layer more than 7200 meters below the reserve several kilometers away. What shall I do? Northwest Oilfield innovates the use of ultra-deep and large displacement technology, like magic standing thousands of meters away to get oil and gas.

At the same time, if you want to accurately find oil and gas through large-reach horizontal wells in the "deep and dark" underground, you must also install eyes on the bit. The northwest oilfield adopts ultra-deep, high-temperature and high-efficiency orientation technology, and uses a high-precision measurement and control system while drilling to transmit signals below 7000 meters to the ground in real time, so that the bit can adjust its trajectory at any time as if it has eyes. Like a gluttonous snake, it travels rapidly underground at a depth of 7200 meters, realizing the leaping of horizontal wells from short distance to long distance and from long period to short period.

In addition to Yuejin 3-3XC well, two other ultra-deep extended reach wells have been deployed in the same well site, setting two new Asian records and achieving five industry-leading achievements. With the breakthrough of Yuejin 3-3XC well, all three wells have achieved efficient production, producing 58000 tons of crude oil and estimated additional recoverable reserves of 310000 tons, providing reference and guidance for the efficient utilization of ecological red line areas, reservoir areas and similar domestic oil and gas resources.

In recent years, 60% of the world's new oil and gas reserves come from deep strata. Deep and ultra-deep layers have also become the main positions for major oil and gas discoveries in China. China's deep and ultra-deep oil and gas resources have reached 67.1 billion tons of oil equivalent, accounting for 34% of the country's total oil and gas resources.
