The two sides will also actively explore multi-dimensional innovative applications in the field of renewable energy. Airbus aims to achieve 100% renewable energy power in all parks in China by 2030.

Compared with conventional fossil fuels, SAF fuels generate an average of 80 per cent less carbon emissions from raw material collection to end-user use. At present, all Airbus aircraft have been certified and can use up to 50 per cent of SAF fuel mixed with aviation fuel. Airbus plans to achieve 100% SAF fuel flight certification for all aircraft products by 2030.
