Yazan Aldehayyat, the hardware designer of ▲ Picture Source AxiosSteam Deck, announced in an interview with foreign media Axios yesterday that V Society regards Steam Deck 2 as a "pursuit goal" and claimed that "the second generation handset is necessary, we actually have a roadmap."

CTOnews.com previously reported that according to previous interviews with other V Club employees by foreign media, V Society does have plans to plan Steam Deck 2, but it still needs to be polished for 2-3 years, but it is not known whether Steam Deck will come to an abrupt end after the second generation.

In this interview, Yazan Aldehayyat reiterated his commitment to Steam Deck and said that the company would invest in this particular product for a long time. He also hinted that V Society may launch a different color Steam Deck in the future, including a limited edition that will have an orange spotted shell.
