Wireless local area network equipment manufactured or imported before this can continue to be sold and used until it is scrapped.

The Circular requires that IPv6 wireless local area network equipment produced or imported for sale and use in China shall apply to the national radio regulatory agency for and obtain the type approval certificate of radio transmitting equipment in accordance with relevant regulations, and comply with the requirements of relevant radio management regulations such as the Notice on Strengthening and Standardizing Matters Related to Radio Management of 2400MHz, 5100MHz and 5800MHz Frequency Bands.

In addition, the Notice also requires IPv6 wireless local area network equipment to support and enable IPv6 address allocation by default, and basic telecom operators should support and encourage users to access the Internet through IPv6 wireless local area network equipment. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, after the issuance of the Notice, it will not affect users 'use of wireless local area network equipment.
