CTOnews.com November 14 news, Thunderbolt today released the third quarter 2023 results, the results show that Thunder reported third-quarter revenue of $84.2 million, gross profit of $37.5 million, up 6.6% year-on-year, net profit of $4.4 million, compared with the same period last year net profit of $8.3 million, down about 47%.

Revenue from membership services was $28.7 million, up 15.2 per cent from a year earlier, according to the financial report. In terms of business data, as of September 30, 2023, the number of Thunderbolt member users was about 5.02 million, an increase of 650000 over the same period last year. In the third quarter of 2023, the average revenue per member was 39.9 yuan. In the same period last year, the figure was 39.1 yuan.

Cloud computing revenue remained stable in the quarter, up 1.4 per cent from a year earlier to $29.5 million.

In the third quarter, Thunderbolt increased its share of R & D investment, to $19.5 million, or 23.1% of total revenue, compared with $16.2 million, or 18.3%, in the same period last year.

CTOnews.com noted that Thunderbolt expects total revenue in the fourth quarter of 2023 to range from $70 million to $75 million. On average, revenue fell by about 8.6% in the fourth quarter from the previous quarter.
