CTOnews.com, November 14, Lenovo recently launched the ThinkStation P8 tower workstation, which is equipped with AMD's Ryzen Thread Ripper Pro 7000 WX series processor and Nvidia's RTX series GPU.

With many of the designs and functions of the P620, the ThinkStation P8 Tower Workstation further enhances the cooling system and optimizes the introduction of an Aston Martin-style chassis design that can handle a variety of complex tasks, from simulation to AI application development, providing excellent performance and scalability, and enhancing its reliability through certification, security and support.

Lenovo ThinkStation P620 is the first workstation equipped with AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro processor in the industry. It has been widely recognized and positively evaluated by users since it was launched in March 2022.

The ThinkStation P8 tower workstation is equipped with AMD 5nm's Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7000 WX series Zen 4 processor, which can be equipped with up to 96 cores and 192 threads.

The chassis can hold up to 3 Nvidia RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPU.

ThinkStation P8 workstations include ISV certification, support for Windows 11 and the popular Linux operating system. It has a range of storage and expansion features, easy access and tool maintenance-free, future-oriented scalability and rapid replacement of many components. The P8 workstation can accommodate up to 7 M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD supporting RAID, or up to 3 HDD for mass storage, up to 8 channels of 2TB DDR5 memory, and seven PCIe slots, six of which are PCI Gen 5, providing higher-speed connectivity, lower latency, greater scalability, and including onboard 10 Gb Ethernet, almost eliminating network bottlenecks.

The ThinkStation P8 will be available in the first quarter of 2024.
