CTOnews.com November 14 news, Tesla Cybertruck buyers will be subject to a certain period of time "no resale" policy restrictions, claiming to sue buyers who violate the agreement, CTOnews.com reported yesterday, this policy is not limited to Tesla Cybertruck trucks, has been previously found in the company's other model purchase agreements.

Tesla has previously claimed that if the owner violates the terms of the agreement, Tesla can seek injunctive relief to prevent the transfer of ownership of the vehicle or require the owner to pay $50000 in liquidated damages or the value received as consideration for the sale or transfer, whichever is higher.

However, according to foreign media arstechnica report, Tesla has quietly modified the "no resale" agreement to remove the lawsuit claim policy, but still prohibits buyers from reselling these vehicles quickly.

It is reported that Tesla deleted the following specific clauses:

You understand and agree that you will not sell or otherwise attempt to sell the vehicle within the first year after the delivery date of the vehicle, and that if you must sell the vehicle within the first year after the delivery date for any unforeseen reason, you agree to notify Tesla in writing and give Tesla reasonable time to acquire your vehicle, Tesla will deduct $0.25/mile for wear and tear from the price at which you purchased the vehicle, as well as the cost of repairing the vehicle. Give these vehicles and your acquisition offer based on Tesla used car standards.

If Tesla refuses to acquire your vehicle, you may resell it to a third party only after obtaining Tesla's written consent. You agree that if you violate these Terms, or Tesla reasonably believes that you are about to violate these Terms, Tesla may seek legal action to recover $50000 from you as liquidated damages for the sale or transfer of the vehicle, and Tesla may refuse to sell any future vehicles to you.
