CTOnews.com, Nov. 14, the annual Android update season has arrived, and Sony has announced the release of Android 14 updates for its Xperia10V.

Sony has previously released an Android 14 update for Xperia 1V, which brings several new customization options, including new lock screen shortcuts, extended font selection, Nearby Share support for Windows 10 PC, and increased compatibility with Find My Device applications.

This update also brings improved security and privacy options, which can be found in Android 14, as well as new battery settings.

The update, with the 68.1.A.2.93 identifier, is being rolled out in batches in Europe and the UK, and is expected to expand to more regions in the coming weeks.

Launched in May this year, the Sony Xperia 10V locates a mid-range phone with a Snapdragon 695 chip, 8 GB+128 GB storage and a built-in 5000mAh battery weighing 159g. It is priced at 449 euros in Europe (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 3498 yuan).

The Sony Xperia 10V features a 6.1in 1080p OLED display that is 1.5 times brighter than before, has a 60Hz refresh rate, covers gorilla glass Victus, and has a plastic back and frame.

The Sony Xperia 10V is equipped with 48MP sensors (1x2.0inch, f / 1.8m pixels, 0.8 μ m pixels, support for OIS optical anti-shake), 8MP telephoto (f / 2.2 camera 2x), 8MP ultra wide angle (f / 2.2120 degree FoV) lens, and front 8MP selfie camera.

In addition, the Sony Xperia 10V has a built-in 5000mAh battery that promises to maintain at least 80 per cent capacity after three years; other features include IP65/68 dustproof and waterproof, 3.5mm audio Jack and front stereo speakers.
