CTOnews.com, Nov. 13-Microsoft is adding some new features to Copilot on Windows 11, and Windowslatest has discovered three experimental new features-booting, undocking, and resizing its panes.

CTOnews.com notes that in Windows 11 23H2 or Moment 4, Copilot does not start running as soon as the user starts the system, but this may change in the future. Microsoft is testing a new optional feature in the Windows 11 preview that allows Copilot to turn on automatically when the system starts.

This new Copilot setting is located in the personalized page, and currently the option "turn on Copilot on boot" is turned off by default and is designed for a wider screen. Once enabled, Copilot opens automatically when the user starts Windows PC.

Microsoft is also testing another feature to give users more control over Windows Copilot. As shown in the following figure, users will soon be able to unpin the pane, allowing other applications to open at the top of the AI pane.

Currently, Copilot cannot be resized or unpinned, which means that once opened, it is always on the side of the Windows 11 desktop. Copilot won't disappear unless the user closes the window manually or clicks "x" or its icon, but that will soon change, as Microsoft is modularizing it. Like other Windows applications, when the unpin mode is turned on, the Windows Copilot pane automatically collapses when the user maximizes another application.

In addition, users will soon be able to resize the Copilot pane, which has an adaptive design. When the user resizes it, the "recent" and plug-in tags automatically appear on the right side of Copilot, similar to Bing Chat for web.

Windowslatest found these features in the public preview version, which Microsoft seems to be conducting A / B testing, and it is not known whether these features will eventually be released.
