CTOnews.com, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) Peugeot recently launched a special version of the 308 GT model in Japan, called Puretech Edition. The highlight of the model is the 1.2T three-cylinder gasoline engine, which fills the gap that Peugeot 308 GT lacks gasoline engines in the Japanese market. The Peugeot 308 GT Puretech Edition is limited to 160 cars and starts at 4.18 million yen (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 201000 yuan).

The Peugeot 308 GT Puretech Edition, based on a new generation of Peugeot 308, has little change in appearance, with a borderless intake grille on the front face connected to the headlights and eye-catching LED daytime driving lights below. In terms of body color, the model offers two options: olivine green and Okun white, which costs an extra fee.

Peugeot 308 GT Puretech Edition is a compact car with a body size of 4420, 1850, 1475mm and a wheelbase of 2680 mm. In terms of interior, the model uses Alcantara / leather seats with panoramic skylights, front seat heating, steering wheel heating, automatic anti-glare interior rearview mirror, driving mode selection, 360-degree panoramic image and so on.

In terms of power, the Peugeot 308 GT Puretech Edition is equipped with a 1.2T three-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum power of 96kW and a maximum torque of 230Nm, matching an eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the Peugeot 308 GT has a 1.5T four-cylinder diesel engine in Japan. Peugeot 308 GT Puretech Edition competitors include Volkswagen Golf, Ford focus and other models.
