Among them, the automobile market from January to February was greatly affected by the Spring Festival factors and the withdrawal of subsidies. From March to May, driven by last year's low base, the automobile market surged year-on-year, and exports and domestic demand from June to October strongly promoted high growth. At the same time, the passenger car market continues to improve, boosted by the decline in real estate.

Cui Dongshu believes that with the strengthening of policy guidance for the automobile industry at the national level, and the further stabilization and expansion of automobile consumption, the growth of the auto market in October is stronger than expected. Recently, domestic consumption and exports of passenger cars have made a great contribution, and the overall automobile market continues to strengthen, with the number of passenger cars expected to reach 29.5 million for the whole year, a record high.

CTOnews.com Note: domestic car sales in 2019 and 2020 were 25.7687 million and 25.31 million respectively, showing varying degrees of decline, and then in 2021, car sales reached 26.27 million, an increase of 3.8%. In 2022, car sales continued to grow slightly, with 26.7557 million units, a cumulative growth rate of 1.9%. From January to October 2023, car sales reached 23.9671 million units, representing a cumulative growth rate of 9.1%.

In terms of new energy vehicles, the cumulative sales of new energy passenger vehicles in 2022 was 6.5 million, an increase of 96% over the same period last year, while from January to October 2023, the cumulative sales of new energy passenger vehicles reached 6.8 million, with a steady growth trend.
