The survey found that online water army fraud gangs (in the form of cultural and media companies) scan traffic in two ways: they buy from third-party platforms and operate hundreds of mobile phones at the same time.

Criminal gangs use a central control software to control hundreds of mobile phones and operate 24 hours a day, basically reaching 10, 000 to 50, 000 traffic in 10 minutes.

According to the police, these companies have different prices and are divided into multiple stalls. The minimum number of views is 500000, and the charge is between 2500 yuan and 3000 yuan. Then, the number of page views is 1 million, 1.5 million, 3.5 million and 6 million respectively, with a maximum of 10 million views and a fee of 19800 yuan.

CTOnews.com learned from CCTV news that the cost for criminal gangs to brush traffic is only 30 yuan, while the labor costs for video clips and copywriting planners are 100 yuan and 50 yuan respectively. A service that costs 180 yuan charges a fee of 19800 yuan, which costs less than 1%.
