Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen Jiayi and new soft media friend 2xrpri for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, November 12 (Xinhua)-- SpaceX completed the Transporter-9 "carpool" mission via the Falcon 9 carrier rocket on Saturday, November 11, local time. The rocket-1 returned to the ground about 7.5 minutes after liftoff and completed a vertical landing at Vandenberg.

According to SpaceX's mission description, this is the 12th launch and landing of the booster.

According to the mission description, the mission carried 90 payloads to serve a variety of customers, "including cube satellites, microsatellites and orbital transfer vehicles that will deploy spacecraft at a later time". These payloads will be deployed to low Earth orbit within 54 to 85.5 minutes after launch.

Although the 90 payloads are indeed many, they do not exceed the previous record. SpaceX's Transporter-1 mission put 143satellites into orbit in January 2021, and the Transporter-6 mission launched last January also carried 114satellites.

Data show that Transporter-9 is SpaceX's 82nd launch mission in 2023, setting a new record for the company's annual launches (CTOnews.com Note: a total of 61 launches in 2022), and is expected to continue to set records in the coming month.
