The "2025" in the article seems to correspond to the ideal car CEO Li Xiang's blog post on November 8, when Li Xiang said on Weibo that the own-brand car companies that still adhere to multi-gear (block) PHEV will switch to the technical route of adding programs in the next year or two, which "can be verified in 2025."

According to CTOnews.com 's previous report, although Li Xiang, the ideal car CEO, thought that both the Great Wall and Geely would turn to the add-on route, and gave his own opinion, this claim was soon rejected by executives of Great Wall and Geely.

Geely will provide the technical solution that best suits the users according to the needs of different users, and we will unswervingly promote the third-gear PHEV."

Yang Xueliang said that the core point of choosing an extended range or a plug-in scheme with a block lies in how to balance fuel consumption, cost and performance, as well as considering user charging conditions and driving range, which also depends on whether the enterprise's R & D strength can be supported.
