Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com, November 11, according to the latest tweet shared by HKL @ 9550pro, shared the latest WHQL certified AMD chipset driver update, showing support for AMD's upcoming Ryzen 8000 series APU series.

This driver update shows that AMD has completed the development of the chipset driver that supports its new Dragon 8000 APU and is ready to release its new APU series.

CTOnews.com Note: the full name of WHQL is Windows hardware quality laboratory testing, which means that the new driver update of AMD has passed Microsoft's test program and ensures that the driver is fully compatible with Windows.

This shows that AMD is ready for the new Ruilong 8000 driver and is ready to release its new APU series.

Ryzen 8000 is the name of AMD's upcoming Zen 4 Ryzen APU, which will target the desktop market. It was previously reported that the chips would use more powerful integrated graphics processors based on AMD's latest RDNA3 GPU architecture.

According to the report, AMD will release four new SKU for the mid-range and entry-level desktop markets, at least for now, including 8-core Ryzen 7 8700GPHI 6-core Ryzen 58600 GMAT 6-core Ryzen 58500G and 4-core Ryzen 38300G.

The last two models will have a mixed core layout, combining the Zen 4 core and the smaller Zen 4c core. The 8500G will have two Zen 4 cores and four Zen 4c cores, while the 8300G will have only one Zen 4 core and three Zen 4c cores.

On the graphics side, these new chips will be equipped with AMD's latest generation of Radeon 700m series integrated graphics units. 8700G will be equipped with 12 CU flagship Radeon 780M 8600G will get Radeon 760m with 8 CU, and the last two chips will use Radeon 740M with 4 CU.

AMD has yet to finalize a timetable for the release of its Ryzen 8000 series of chips, but it is now reasonable to assume that it will launch these new chips in the coming months (or earlier).
