CTOnews.com November 11 news, according to the latest data released by the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, in October this year, China's power battery loading volume 39.2GWh, an increase of 28.3% year-on-year, month-on-month growth of 7.6%.

The report pointed out that the cumulative loading volume of power batteries in Ningde era in October was 16.78GWh, ranking first with 42.81% share, up 3.4 percentage points from 39.41% share in September.

BYD's October power battery loading volume was 10.28 GWh, ranking second with 26.23% share, down 0.77 percentage points from 27% in September.

In January and February, BYD's share of China's power battery market was around 34%. BYD's share has been below 30 percent since March, except in May.

In mid-October, CALB power battery loading volume was 3.79GWh, ranking third with 9.67% share, down 0.39 percentage points from 10.06% in September.

Yiwei Lithium Energy ranked fourth in October, with 2.04 GWh of power battery loading, with a share of 5.21%.

Guoxuan High-Tech ranked fifth in October with 1.76 GWh installed capacity, accounting for 4.49% share.

The report pointed out that in October this year, China's ternary battery loading volume was 12.3GWh, accounting for 31.4% of the total loading volume, up 14.0% year-on-year and 0.8% month-on-month. Lithium iron phosphate battery loading volume 26.8GWh, accounting for 68.5% of the total loading volume, an increase of 36.4% year-on-year, month-on-month growth of 10.9%.

In the lithium iron phosphate market, BYD topped the list with 38.31% share, with 10.28GWh loaded in October, but lower than 40.65% in September.

Ningde Times installed capacity in October was 8.54GWh, with a share of 31.84%, up from 28.42% in September, ranking second in the lithium iron phosphate battery market.

From January to October 2023, the cumulative loading capacity of power batteries in China was 294.9GWh, with a year-on-year growth of 31.5%. Among them, the cumulative loading volume of ternary batteries was 93.9GWh, accounting for 31.8% of the total loading volume, with a year-on-year increase of 6.7%; the cumulative loading volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 200.7GWh, accounting for 68.1% of the total loading volume, with a year-on-year increase of 47.6%.
