CTOnews.com, 11 / 11 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- Netflix released clips of "three-body" on Geek week and rescheduled its launch on March 21, 2024 (originally scheduled for January next year).

According to CTOnews.com, the play is adapted from Liu Cixin's science fiction, created by David Benioff & D B Weiss, the creator of "Game of Thrones" and Alexander Wu. Liu Cixin and Liu Yukun, the English translator of the novel, act as consultant producers, and Zeng Guoxiang ("Young you") directs the first episode.

In the original work, "three-body" is an immersive virtual reality game. In the trailer, neither Jack Rooney (John Bradley) nor Jincheng (Jesse Hong) knows anything about the virtual reality device, and Jack wears it in a very real environment when a strange woman (Hideoka Hai) suddenly appears and waves a long sword at him.

As for Netflix's adaptation of "three-body", Liu Cixin once said that this is a story of all mankind that transcends time, nationality, culture and race. "I am honored to see this sci-fi concept popular all over the world. I am also excited to discover this' world'on Netflix.
