On November 10, CTOnews.com, at today's China Telecom 2023 Digital Science and Technology Ecology Conference and 2023 Digital Technology Ecology Exhibition, China Telecom released a 100 billion parameter "star" semantic model.

According to reports, the "Star" semantic model includes the first batch of 12 industry models for commercial use, namely, the star education model, the grass-roots governance model, the government service model, the emergency model, the medical insurance model, the traffic model, the housing and construction model, the financial model, the Shennong 1 model, the travel model, the tourism guide model, and the mine model.

China Telecom also issued the "China Telecom Industry large Model Technology White Paper", sharing with the industry a series of technical standards for China Telecom large models from data labeling to deployment, and five categories of industry training paths.

China Telecom said that it will open the 10 billion parameter model by the end of this year, open source the 100 billion parameter model in April next year, and open source all the underlying code, as well as high-quality cleaning data above 1TB, as well as various tool chains based on the base of the star model.
