Recently, Qualcomm, together with more than 60 other enterprises and institutions, signed up with the organizers of the Expo to participate in the Seventh Expo at the 2023 Expo exhibitors' Conference. Reviewing the course of Qualcomm's six fairs, we will find that the development of the Expo is highly synchronized with that of 5G. As an important participant in the field of 5G, Qualcomm has developed rapidly in the past six years, and Snapdragon terminals cover more and more categories. Qualcomm has a growing circle of friends in China, and Qualcomm's cooperation with Chinese partners has made more and more achievements in expanding the world.

For example, in the first Expo in 2018, Qualcomm exhibited 5G test terminals at the Expo. In early 2018, Qualcomm, together with China's leading mobile phone manufacturers, launched the 5G pilot Program, which aims to promote the commercial deployment and expansion of 5G around the world. The program has accelerated the development and launch of 5G smartphones, especially with the help of Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G platform, partners have greatly shortened the development cycle of 5G products and gained a leading edge in the global market.

When the third Expo was held in 2020, China launched a new infrastructure plan, of which 5G ranked first in the project. Also in this year, Qualcomm joined hands with more than 20 Chinese companies to launch the "5G Internet of things Innovation Program" to promote the commercial landing of the first batch of 5G Internet of things terminals.

Qualcomm introduced cars to the Qualcomm booth for the first time in the fourth Expo in 2021. It is also from this year that Qualcomm's unified platform "Snapdragon Digital chassis" developed for Intelligent Networked cars continues to blossom and bear fruit in China. In the two years from 2021 to now, Qualcomm has launched more than 100 new models based on Snapdragon digital chassis with more than 40 Chinese car brands.

In this year's Expo, Qualcomm demonstrated the powerful generative AI capabilities of Snapdragon platform, such as the third generation Snapdragon 8 5G mobile platform, which can run 10 billion parameter generative AI model, and Snapdragon X Elite PC platform, which can run 13 billion parameter generative AI model. Among them, Chinese manufacturers Xiaomi and iQOO have launched a number of smart flagships equipped with the third generation Snapdragon 8, which have been displayed at the Qualcomm booth, and many others have also announced that they will launch corresponding smart flagships one after another.

During the Expo, Meng Fu, chairman of Qualcomm China, said that the platform of the Expo is very important to Qualcomm, providing an excellent platform to enhance learning and communication with Chinese industry and customers. He also said that Qualcomm is a "big fan" of the fair and will continue to participate in the fair in the future. It is hoped that through the platform of the Expo, we can push the cooperation between Qualcomm and Chinese industrial partners to a new height and work together to expand more areas of the global market.
