CTOnews.com November 9, Micron today announced the release of 128GB DDR5 RDIMM memory with 32Gb chips, which has speeds of up to 8000 MT/s and is suitable for server and workstation platforms.

The 128GB DDR5 RDIMM memory using 32Gb chip adopts Meguiar's 1 β (1-beta) technology, which improves energy efficiency by 24% and reduces latency by up to 16%. In addition, this series of memory also optimizes the chip size aspect ratio to improve the manufacturing efficiency of 32Gb capacity DRAM chips.

Meguiar's 128GB RDIMM memory will be available in 4800 MT/s, 5600 MT/s and 6400 MT/s models in 2024, and 8000 MT/s models will be introduced in the future.
