As of January 2023, Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 no longer receive paid security updates, making them more vulnerable to malware. This brings security risks to the development of the starter, and may expose the game and the player's system to unnecessary risks.

Steam will stop supporting Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 in January 2024, so the P Society no longer supports initiators on these systems.

Since the P Club will no longer support the initiators of Windows 7, 8 and 8.1, this means that future versions of the initiators will not be able to run under these old operating systems, resulting in the inability to start P Club's games.

The easiest way is to rename the folder where you want to keep the version (such as the path% LocalAppData%\ Programs\ ParadoxInteractive\ launcher-v2.2023.13.1) and rename it to launcher-v2.2099.99. This will cause the version to be recognized as the latest version and subsequent updates will fail.

P News Agency officials strongly recommend that players consider free operating system updates to supported Windows versions (such as Windows 10 or 11). In the coming weeks, P will update the minimum system requirements for store games and DLC to reflect this change.
