@ SupremeMiner, a member of the Chiphell forum, said that he bought an Alienware R15 Gaming desktop mainframe a few months ago, and Dell just sent him a marketing letter that explicitly mentioned "an Alienware desktop with an AMD Auron 9000 processor."

Dell also claimed that it was sent to loyal customers of the Alienware brand. If true, this means that AMD's next-generation sharp dragon desktop processor will jump directly to the 9000 series, while the 8000 series is an APU or mobile platform-specific name.

Of course, it doesn't rule out the possibility that an employee at Alienware wrote "8" as "9" by mistake, or that Dell doesn't plan to launch a new phone next year, and then won't launch a new one with Ruilong 9000 processors until 2025.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, AMD's latest brand naming clearly states that it is reasonable not to use the 9000 naming scheme for Ruilong CPU before 2025.

According to AMD, the first of the four numbers indicates the year, for example, "7" is 2023, "8" is 2024, and "9" is 2025. Although this nomenclature was introduced for mobile processors, it should also apply to desktops.
