CTOnews.com, November 8, according to the monthly KuaiBao data released by RUNTO, the total number of TV market shipments in China reached 3.74 million units in October 2023, up 5.4% from the previous month and down 10.3% from the same period last year.

Among the major brands, Hisense (CTOnews.com Note: Hanzi brand Vidda) shipped more than 800000 units in October, ranking first; TCL (Hanzi brand Thunderbird) shipped about 750000 units in October, ranking second; Xiaomi (including red rice) shipped about 700000 units in October, ranking third; Skyworth (Hanzi brand Kukai) shipped less than 700000 units in that month, ranking fourth, with year-on-year growth and growth ranking first, more than 10%.

In addition, the total combined shipments of Changhong, Konka and Haier in October were less than 550000 units, down 14.7% from the same period last year. Huawei's shipments in October continued to be depressed, with annual cumulative shipments of less than 700000 units, down more than 40% from the same period last year, and the annual cumulative market share was only 2.2%, down 1.7% from the same period last year. Sony, Samsung, Philips and Sharp shipped less than 200000 units in October, down 10 per cent from a year earlier and a combined market share of less than 5 per cent.

Loto Technology said that in the second half of the year, the trend of the market is completely different from the "up and down, overall balance" characteristics of the first half of the year, with a year-on-year decline of more than 10% for four consecutive months. So far, total shipments in the first 10 months are down 5.8% from the same period last year.
