CTOnews.com November 8 news, Lucid today released the third quarter of 2023 financial results, and announced a reduction in full-year production forecast.

Total revenue: $138 million (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1.005 billion yuan)

R & D expenditure: $231 million (currently about 1.682 billion yuan)

Net loss: $631 million (currently about 4.594 billion yuan)

The first three quarters of this year:

Total revenue: $438 million (currently about 3.189 billion yuan)

R & D expenditure: $694 million (currently about 5.052 billion yuan)

Net loss: $2.175 billion (currently about 15.834 billion yuan)

In the third quarter of this year, Lucid produced 1550 vehicles and delivered 1457 vehicles; in the first three quarters of this year, Lucid produced 6037 vehicles and delivered 4267 vehicles. Officials announced a cut in production forecast for 2023 from 10, 000 + to 8000-8500 vehicles.

In addition, Lucid Air Pure RWD and Lucid Air Sapphire both started production in September, thus completing the launch of the entire Lucid Air model.

Elsewhere, Lucid final assembly production began to move to the second phase of the Arizona plant; completed the deal with Aston Martin and started strategic technology-related work arrangements; and opened the first manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia.

Marc Winterhoff was appointed as the first chief operating officer responsible for global manufacturing, supply chain, sales and service, marketing and day-to-day operations and execution of international markets.

It is worth mentioning that Lucid also began to warm up its second model, which is also its first SUV--Lucid Gravity. According to reports, the new model will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 16 and production is expected to start at the end of 2024.
