The first is smartphones. Qualcomm launched the third-generation Snapdragon 8 5G platform at the Snapdragon Summit. This is Qualcomm's first mobile platform built specifically for generative AI, and the performance of AI has been greatly improved. Previously, smartphones can run a generative AI model with 1 billion parameters, but the third-generation Snapdragon 8 will increase the size of this parameter by 10 times and run the 10 billion-parameter AI model on the terminal side. When running the same task, such as in Stable Diffusion, it takes 15 seconds to generate a picture with 20 steps of reasoning, while the third generation Snapdragon 8 takes less than 1 second to complete the task.

And then PC. Qualcomm has released the new Snapdragon X Elite platform designed for the next generation of PC experiences. The chip has a computing power as high as 75TOPS and supports a generative AI model with more than 13 billion parameters on the terminal side. Personal computers and notebooks equipped with this platform will usher in a new era of AI computing. Meng stressed that under the same computing power, Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite platform is more power-efficient and has a longer standby time. These improvements will bring users seamless multitasking and a new intuitive interactive experience. Snapdragon X Elite PC from Qualcomm partners will be available around mid-2024.

And the automobile field. Meng said that 5G and AI-enabled intelligent Internet-connected cars have become a symbol of a new era. The generative AI running in the automobile terminal can provide users with a highly personalized driving experience. At the Qualcomm booth of this Expo, a high-tech HiPhi Y equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon digital cockpit platform is on display, where passengers can play the latest basketball online game "all-Star Street Ball Party" through the auxiliary screen in the cockpit.
